Carmen has worked in the veterinary field since 1998. Prior to coming to Virginia Equine Imaging she was the practice manager at a small animal clinic in Ashburn. She was looking for something new and exciting such as an equine or specialty practice and joined our team in 2014. She lives in The Plains with her husband and daughter as well as two dogs – Montee, a Golden Retriever and Einstein, a Keeshond. She also has three horses and spends most of her time at the barn. Her daughter shows in both English and Western disciplines while Carmen trail rides for fun.
Sarah is a friendly horse person from New England. She Started riding at the age of nine and hasn't stopped since!
In college, she played polo and was ranked third for women collegiate players while completing a degree in bio-chemistry. In 2005, after a decade of dedication to a large New England equestrian facility, she left its seriously long winters for the year-round equestrian life here in Virginia. Horses continue to be a passion and riding is part of her everyday. She is either trail riding for fitness, in a training session, fox hunting or acting silly by bareback riding in the snow or nearby lake.
Sarah started at Virginia Equine Imaging as a receptionist and eventually because the computer and media systems go to tech. Sarah is a valued part-time employee at Virginia Equine Imaging, finding it both fulfilling and educational.

Dr Allen and his associates are wonderful. I told my barrel horse for a second option with his navicular issues. To soon to see if it will work but the knowledge this man has. well worth the trip.
