History: 15-year-old Thoroughbred mare presenting for evaluation of a persistent LF lameness. The lameness resolves with an abaxial nerve block. The mare has a history of a deep digital flexor tendon tear diagnosed with a standing MRI 3 years prior.

Diagnosis: Progressive deep digital flexor tendon tears from mid-pastern to the distal aspect of the navicular bone.
