History: 10-year-old Warmblood mare referred for advanced imaging of the neck due to avoidance behavior under saddle.

Diagnosis: Moderate osteoarthritis of the C5-6 and C6-7 articular process joints. Mild C6-7 intervertebral foramen narrowing.

Follow-up: The mare has responded well to ultrasound-guided intra-articular therapy of the C5-6 and C6-7 articular process joints and has returned to work.
