Dr. Jack Caldwell graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary medicine in 2021. Following graduation, he completed an internship and a subsequent fellowship in sports medicine and advanced imaging at Virginia Equine Imaging (VEI). He has since joined the VEI team as an associate veterinarian, where he focuses on equine sports medicine, lameness, and diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Caldwell leads VEI’s use of the newly installed standing fan-beam Asto CT system, which enables advanced cross-sectional imaging of both bone and soft tissue structures from the distal radius and tibia through the foot, as well as the head and cervical spine to C6-C7. He plans to pursue ISELP certification in the coming years to further enhance his expertise in equine locomotor pathology and performance medicine.
